the widget ones should hide the default ones (if thats not possible, widget ones should be removed)

engine only shows self-desruct icons on selected units (or all cmds via shift-space)

This widget allows you to see if teammates self-d stuff, comes in handy in various conditions.

I could disable the icons when user has the units selected tho.

Engine default can't be disabled as far I know of.

Make a mantis request to transfer control of the self-d icon to lua - until that has happened this is not a viable thing to do via widget. [2657]

[2874] Displaying different self d icons dependent on whether or not a unit is selected is not a solution - it's inconsistent and to anyone without specialist knowledge of the reason it would just appear like crappy coding.

It's made clear in the above comment what should be done here.
