This is configurable via comsole:

/enemyspotter_highlight /+enemyspotter_highlight -- opacity /-enemyspotter_highlight -- opacity

But bright colors like yellow will be a bit brighter than darker ones i believe.

Expecting to reconfigure this everytime someone changes colour is not realistic - and wouldn't help anyway since games typically contain players of many colours, some dark some light.
