Ok so ive traced problem to the new s3o version of the roost model , did some think go wrong with the conversion ?

still present in 97.0.1-20. also, only the first ceg of the smoke trail appears

Oddly enough, if I fix the emit vector of the model, still only the first ceg appears. To me it looks like the roost WEAPON is broken too.

seems to work after [3214], but I'm not totally sure what the original problem was here.

the original problem was that the roost used a degenerate piece to have a custom emit vector. the way it spawns was that the roost is hidden, the the emit piece moved way up and a weapon is fired from it(meteor) and when the weapon impacts, the roost is shown

It is not a problem, its actually quite clever. The problem was that the degenerate piece's vertices did not survive the 3do->s3o conversion for lack of proper tools at the time.

Ahh, ok. As far as I can tell it's correct now.
Is this the unit with roost.s3o?
