e.g. it doesn't load users widgets (seems deliberate?!), it has referenecs to springie in it, it doesn't save/load data from widgets correctly, contains lots of undocumented callins
there are tonnes of differences to the ba one - seems like some of them are needed for chili, but there is lots of junk & broken stuff too
i can fix it (will take a while) but would be handy if someone could tell me where this widgethandler came from?

All springie/zk stuff is gone now. There are some other things remaining that I'm not sure what to do with yet but too many little things to make tickets about, so I'll just close this one.
