but they do change colour correctly on mouseover.
I can't reproduce this - anyone who can, let me know.

Yes I understood, that's interesting... I'll see if I can reproduce that. But there must be more that's involved since for some people this is always reproducible.

Well, I noticed this not only on that situation (Also with "old" stats window that is now available after nice adwards you made).
If you were on the point to place a text spot on the map just before game over, clicking on anywhere else (exit buttons) won't fit until you finish this text editing spot. ([µ/*] + left-double click + text). My English is not good, did you understand ?
