BAR: some UI issues

i had a look through the current ba:r ui, here are lots of thoughts! (sorry if some of the 'bugs' are really work in progress)
- for me all the buttons overlap & there are no icons for orders
- 'order' and 'unit' are sensitive to my mouse just moving over without clicking -> often when i'm going over to the menu to do something i accidentally move over the buttons and the whole menu changes to the one i didnt want
- i think it would be more intuitive to call 'unit' -> 'build'
- the empty menu pane and the 'order' button are visible even when i have no unit selected
- the chat doesn't seem scrollable and there isn't space to type anything more than a few words into the chatbox. also it doesn't show very much of the recently happened chat and what it does show seems to stay there forever
- i can't see how you tell whether the e & m bars are full or empty (i can tell only when they somewhere in the middle)
- the 'bar options' screen doesn't seem useful to me. also it crashes when i click 'restart spring' + why would someone who has just loaded spring want a restart command?! also it gives me a lua error as soon as the game starts

Great :) I'll close this ticket since I doubt you'll want to read it a second time and we don't need ticket for wip
On categories - i think the two 'order' and 'build/unit' categories are the perfect way divide up the menu

Replying to Bluestone:
Should be fixed now, except order icons. Until I get time to sort out or make icons it'll just be text.
I'm mostly just including it for people that complain about too much clicking, actually if you get used to it, it's not all bad. For now I'll just disable it, and make it an option when I get to it.
The categories are actually just some one's I made on the spot to test it and I haven't actually put much thought into them past functionality. Anyway, I'll do that and let me if you have anymore suggestions, e.g. more/less categories, names, etc..

the console is definitely WIP, having just been made the other night. But I have a lot more planned for it, and as far as input text I don't have much control over the engine default. Right now I actually have it set up to use both the engine or the supplied editbox to enter text (by clicking on it), with the editbox probably fitting much more.

I mostly just committed that for safe-keeping but its much better now that I updated it. Actually I was a little hasty, a few bugs you've mentioned (you probably had the very basic chili skin) were actually because of it, but all should be well now. Right now its main functionality is for replacing the widget list and exit game menus, and telling you the time plus your FPS.
